Roofing Work We Do in Nashville

Residential Roof Installation
The start of a build, not the end of a roof. New construction, an addition, a dormer, a garage or ADU conversion, or sheathing being replaced as structure.

Commercial Roof Installation
Commercial work here runs from single-story retail on Nolensville Pike to warehouse fields in MetroCenter and mixed-use buildings on tree-lined streets in Germantown and 12South. The street trees matter more than owners expect, because on a parapet building the debris has nowhere at all to go.

Roof Replacement
Most Nashville roofs we replace did not wear out evenly. The slope facing open sky still holds granule cover, while the slope under a hickory or tulip poplar is scoured bald in streaks.

Roof Repair
The work here begins with damage you can point at: shingles rolled back by a straight-line wind, a perished vent boot, a ridge cap torn off, a limb through one face, nails backing out of a sun-beaten pitch. Hunting a leak is different work.

Asphalt Shingle Roofs
Asphalt covers the overwhelming majority of roofs in Middle Tennessee, and it stays the right answer for most houses here. What changes under heavy canopy is which asphalt product, and how it is fastened.

Cool Roof Installation
Nashville is the case where the answer is mostly no, and we would rather say it on the page than at your table. Middle Tennessee runs hot summers, but the heating season is the longer and more expensive half of the year, and a reflective roof works against that half.

Flat & Low-Slope Roofing
Low slope shows up on Nashville houses more often than people realize: rear additions, sunroom and porch roofs, shed dormers, and the flat sections over garages on mid-century ranches in Green Hills and Crieve Hall. Almost all of them sit lower than the main roof, and that is the trouble.

Hail Damage Roofing
Middle Tennessee does get hail, usually out of the same spring squall lines that break limbs. That overlap is the whole problem.

Insurance Claim Help
Insurance help on a wooded lot comes down to one distinction: sudden damage is generally covered, gradual deterioration is not. A limb through the deck during a storm is a covered event.

Metal Roofing
This is the page where we argue against our own upsell. Metal is an excellent roof, we install a good deal of it, and on a heavily canopied Nashville lot it is frequently the wrong choice.

Roof Leak Repair
A ceiling stain almost never sits under the hole. Water enters high, runs along the underside of the deck to a rafter, follows that rafter downhill, and drops wherever the framing changes direction.

Roof Skylight Installation
Before we sell you a skylight, we go outside and look up. Under a closed hardwood canopy a skylight delivers far less light than the brochure suggests for eight months of the year, and it makes a debris trap for all twelve.

Storm Damage Restoration
In a tree-heavy market a storm does not arrive on your roof as weather. It arrives as wood.

Tile Roofing
Tile is uncommon in Middle Tennessee but it is not rare. Concrete and clay tile turn up on Mediterranean-influenced custom houses built from the 1990s onward, mostly in the wealthier wooded pockets of Davidson and Williamson Counties.

Wind Damage Roofing
Wind behaves oddly on a wooded street. A slope buried under mature canopy sees less direct uplift than the same slope on an open lot, which sounds like good news.

Nashville is the case where the answer is mostly no, and we would rather say it on the page than at your table. What Nashville property owners ask us
Which roofing services does Nashville Premium Roofing handle?
Everything listed on this page, residential and commercial, across Nashville and Middle Tennessee. Work is done by our own crews rather than handed to whoever is cheapest that week, which is the only way the workmanship warranty means anything.
Can I combine more than one service in a single job?
Yes, and it is usually cheaper. Bundling roofing work into one mobilization saves setup, disposal and travel, and it means one crew, one schedule and one written free estimate instead of three contractors blaming each other.
Do you give free estimates for every service?
Every one. We come out, measure, look at the real condition of the work area, and put an itemized free estimate in writing with materials and scope spelled out. No charge, no deposit, and no obligation to book.
What Nashville Customers Say
They spent longer looking at our trees than at the roof, which felt odd until they showed us the photos. Two limbs were resting on the ridge and the valley under the big oak was packed solid. The quote covered the clearing and the open valley metal along with the shingles, and nothing was added afterwards.
Our north slope had lost tabs twice in three years while the front of the house never did. They explained the sealant strip back there never gets warm enough under the trees, hand-sealed the courses and thinned the canopy over that slope. Two storm seasons since and nothing has moved.
Two other companies quoted us a full replacement. These guys got up there, cleared both valleys, replaced one pipe boot and a length of fascia, and told us the roof had six or seven years left in it. The invoice was under a thousand dollars. They will get the replacement when it is actually time.
A limb came through the back bedroom deck in a March storm. They rigged the wood off in sections instead of dragging it, tarped with screwed battens rather than sandbags, and photographed everything before it moved. The adjuster accepted the scope without an argument. The ceiling looks like nothing ever happened.
